individual counselling

As a Black queer social worker of Afro-Caribbean descent, I work using a strengths-based, and trauma-informed lens, with a deep commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice. Much of my experience has been working with BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, particularly navigating racial, institutional and relational trauma. But I have also worked with many other communities. I believe that everyone has the ability to heal themselves, and I am passionate about supporting that journey.

my approach:

I mostly rely on emotion-focused, compassionate, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches. I am firmly rooted in abolitionist and liberation-based frameworks, and work from a place of deep love for my communities.

I know that seeking support for our mental health is very vulnerable and can feel scary. So, I try my best to create both a safe and brave space where you can be yourself.

I currently have a waitlist for new clients. Please contact me by email for more information, to join the waitlist and to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. I provide services in both French and English to people 18 and up. Please note that I can only provide counselling to folks living in the province of Quebec, and at the moment, I only practise through video call or phone call.

My fee is 140$ per 50-minute session.

I offer sliding scale fees to those who need it, we can discuss it during our consultation call.

Current clients can schedule appointments here.
